PASTELLONE

It is a compact, biocompatible, pre-packaged satin-effect smoothing plaster in powder form for indoor and outdoor use that complies with UNI EN 998-1.

PASTELLONE is totally free of cement and compounds belonging to the clinker group. It consists of a mixture of pure silica-calcareous sands, screened in a continuous grain size range from 0 to 0.4 mm. The only binder included is Pure Natural Hydraulic Lime NHL 5 in accordance with UNI EN 459-1. NHL 5 lime, white in colour, is produced by firing siliceous limestones at temperatures below 1,250° C and reduced to powder by the extinguishing of calcium oxide alone, without the addition of pozzolanic materials or hydraulic binders of any kind.

Fields of application

PASTELLONE is specifically designed for the creation of smoothed or polished skim coats in the field of new construction, renovation of existing heritage and restoration. It can be applied to various types of vertical and horizontal, internal and external subbases, both new and existing such as: rustic plaster of any type and nature lime and/or cement based. In the case PASTELLONE finish is used as a coating for showers or bathrooms, the surface must first be treated with the waterproofing skim coat IDROCALCE following the laying instructions of the SISTEMA and then treated with the protective Akquashield A+B.
